Hello Napavine Families and Staff,

I want to take a moment to thank you for your patience and understanding during the situation over the past 24 hours. I am writing to inform you that local law enforcement has completed a thorough investigation regarding the possible threat reported to our school district last night. Based on their careful review, they have confirmed that it is safe for students and staff to return to school.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our local police officers for their tireless efforts in investigating the situation and for maintaining open communication with our administration to ensure the safety of our school community. They will also be present at school tomorrow to provide additional reassurance and support for a safe return.

We greatly appreciate your continued support during this time. Please know that we take all threats seriously and will always take the necessary steps to protect our students and staff. School will resume tomorrow on its normal schedule.

Thank you for entrusting us with the safety of your children and for being part of a supportive community.

Dear Napavine Families,

Due to some information received late last night, I have made the decision to cancel school today to ensure the safety of our students and staff. There will also be no out of district transportation and no food service today.

In collaboration with law enforcement, we want to take the necessary time to carefully review and investigate the information received late last night. Our priority is making certain that both students and staff can return to school safely.

All after-school activities are canceled at this time. If any new information arises, your coaches will reach out to provide further guidance and instructions.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we work to keep our Napavine community safe.

Sincerely,

Shane Schutz

Napavine Tigers, This year we would like to get our yearbooks ordered and back here to the school prior to the end of the school year so students can have their friends and teachers sign their yearbook. In order to do this, we need to have all yearbook orders placed by April 25th. If you are unsure if you have purchased a yearbook through the school office, please email or call the school office and we can look it up for you. Yearbooks are $40.

Due to inclement weather and icy road conditions, the Napavine School District will shift to a remote learning schedule tomorrow on Friday, February 14th. The district campus will be closed for all in-person instruction. Additionally, there will be no out-of-district transportation or food service available on Friday. After closely monitoring the weather forecast and current road conditions, we wanted to provide this update as early as possible to give families ample time to plan accordingly. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe, and have a great night!
