Safety City
On Friday, January 30, the Kindergarten will take a field trip to Safety City, put on by local law enforcement and fire departments. This year's event is held at Ritchie Bros and students get the opportunity of a hands-on learning experience hosted by our local law enforcement officers and fire department. Students learned important safety skills such as how to cross streets safely, what to do in emergencies, and how community helpers keep us safe every day. We are grateful to our local first responders for partnering with our school to make this fun and memorable learning opportunity possible!
CTE Events for January
This month, our talented students will showcase their skills at several SkillsUSA competitions! High school students will compete in culinary arts, welding, and welding sculpture events, while middle school students will take on an engineering competition. These events give students a chance to apply what theyāve learned in the classroom, demonstrate creativity, and work as a team. We canāt wait to cheer on all of our participants!
End of 2nd Quarter - Early Release
